Privacy Policy

car-sys.com is a brand site: it explains the instruments and hands you over to the marketplaces. Nothing is sold here, so the site asks for no personal data and collects no enquiries. The one thing it does gather is anonymous visit statistics. Here is what that means in practice.

What the site collects

The short answer is anonymous visit statistics, and nothing else. The long answer follows.

No forms that submit data

There is no form on this site that sends anything to a server. The model finder runs entirely in your browser: your selections are never transmitted or stored.

No accounts

The site has no user accounts, so there are no profiles, passwords or order histories. A purchase is completed on the seller’s platform, under its own terms.

There is a traffic counter

Yandex.Metrica runs on these pages: it gathers anonymous statistics and sets its own cookies. The next section covers it in detail, including how to opt out.

No newsletters

The site does not offer subscriptions and keeps no mailing lists. A promo code is handed over straight away and traded for nothing: it needs neither your email nor your phone number.

The promo code only remembers your “no”

The promo code dialog must not reappear for someone who has already closed it or already taken the code. To make that work, the browser keeps two technical marks — “code copied” and “dialog closed, date”. Neither carries your name nor any visitor identifier, and neither is sent anywhere.

Server logs

Like any site on the internet, car-sys.com is served by a web server, and the hosting provider keeps technical logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and the browser type. This is ordinary server operation, needed to maintain the service and protect it from attacks. Logs are not linked to a person, are not used for profiling, and are not shared with third parties except where the law requires it.

Analytics, cookies and storage

We want to know which instruments people look at, where visitors come from and at which step they drop off — otherwise there is nothing to improve the site by. For that, the pages carry a Yandex.Metrica counter (YANDEX LLC, 16 Lva Tolstogo St., Moscow, 119021, Russia).

What is collected

Anonymous visit data: IP address, the country and city derived from it, device and browser type, screen resolution, language, the page address and referring source, time on site, scrolling and clicks. Clicks through to the stores (Ozon, Wildberries, Yandex Market, car-sys.ru), manual downloads, contacts by email or messenger, and showing the promo code dialog, copying the code and following it to a store are recorded separately — as the fact of an event, never its content.

What for

Audience and traffic statistics, judging how well the pages work, and conversion goals for advertising campaigns in Yandex Direct and its ad network — so we can tell which ads bring people who actually reach a purchase.

Who processes it

The data is processed on Yandex’s side under its terms of use for Yandex.Metrica. We only ever see aggregate reports and cannot identify a visitor from them.

Cookies and local storage

Metrica writes its own cookies to your browser, which is how a return visit is told from a first one. The site still sets no cookies of its own, but it does use the browser’s local storage: that is where the promo code marks described above live. The difference matters — cookies travel to the server with every request, local storage travels nowhere and is read only by this same page. By continuing to use the site you agree to this processing.

How to opt out

Turn cookies off in your browser settings, enable Do Not Track, or install Yandex’s official add-on that blocks Metrica. The promo code marks are cleared along with the site data, in those same browser settings. The site keeps working exactly as before: neither the counter nor the promo code affects anything.

What is not collected

We load no third-party advertising pixels, build no visitor profiles, use no session recording, and never match the statistics against your correspondence or purchases.

If you contact us

We publish an email address, a phone number and messenger contacts. When you reach out through any of them, you yourself provide whatever you choose to share: a name, a contact for our reply, the serial number of your instrument, a description of the issue. We use it only to answer you and resolve the matter, keep it in our mail and messenger for as long as that and any subsequent warranty support require, and never pass it on for marketing. The correspondence itself is governed by the rules of the service carrying it — your mail provider, Telegram or WhatsApp.

Links to other sites

The site links out to marketplaces (Ozon, Wildberries, Yandex Market), to our own shop car-sys.ru, and to social and video platforms. The moment you follow such a link you are on someone else’s site: it operates under its own policy, sets its own cookies and collects data on its own terms. We have no control over that, and we recommend reading the policy of the platform where you complete a purchase.

Processing of personal data

This section covers enquiries, purchases and contracts — the cases where you have given us data yourself. Anonymous visit statistics are governed by “Analytics and cookies” above. The section follows Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 on Personal Data, which governs our operations.

Purposes

Answering your enquiry, warranty service and repair of the instrument, performance of a contract, and the duties the law places on us (accounting and tax records).

Legal basis

Your consent, given by the act of contacting us through the published channels; performance of a contract to which you are a party; and statutory requirements.

Data involved

Only what you tell us: a name or form of address, a contact for our reply, and details of the instrument and the purchase. We do not process special categories of data or biometrics.

Retention

Until the purpose is met or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first. Data is kept longer only where a retention period is set by law.

Disclosure

We do not sell or share data for advertising. Disclosure occurs only to the extent needed to ship an instrument for repair, and in cases expressly provided for by law.

Security

Access to enquiries is limited to staff who need it for their work. We apply the organisational and technical measures required by Article 19 of 152-FZ.

Your rights

At any time you may:

  • ask whether we process your data, and what exactly we hold;
  • require inaccurate or incomplete data to be corrected;
  • require your data to be deleted or its processing stopped;
  • withdraw your consent to processing.

Write to the contact address above and we will respond within the period set by law. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to Roskomnadzor as the supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts doing something new — a contact form, say, or a chat — this document will be updated before that change goes live. That is what happened with the traffic counter: the analytics section appeared here together with it. The current version always sits at this address, and its date is shown at the top of the page.
